Science as Faith?
I am enjoying the opportunity to look and teach about the question Does God Exist?
I have found some interesting faith statements from various perspectives:
“In the beginning, there were no reasons; there were only causes. Nothing had a purpose, nothing had so much as a function; there was no teleology in the world at all.” Daniel C. Dennett (1942- ) Scientist and Philosopher
Faith is one of the world’s great evils. Comparable to the smallpox virus, but harder to eradicate.” Richard Dawkins (1941- ) Oxford University Zoologist
“Religion is something left over from the infancy of our intelligence, it will fade away as we adopt reason and science as our guidelines.” Bertrand Russell (1872-1970) Philosopher
“Could there be a more important question in all of human existence than ‘is there a God?’” Dr. Francis Collins, former head of the Human Genome Project
Keep on searching for truth...
