If you need a refresher or know someone who is not quite sure about this Jesus you talk about, I highly recommend the book A Doubter's Guide to Jesus by John Dickson. As one of my students said, "I have to say I was incredibly impressed with how they laid out the historical evidence for the life of Jesus within and by the standards of academic historians. When laid out in that way, I felt pretty confident in accepting that there's more than sufficient evidence for the existence of this figure, which is an admirable feat."
