Have been swamped with teaching and chaplaincy but we are getting back on the blog track. My students in religious education actually wrote blogs for GraceFinder so you can look forward to their contributions in the weeks ahead. They wrote about dichotomous thinking and faith... (what??) Today's thought begins and ends with a prayer against the culture of fear I see evidenced on Facebook - and fear is always understandable in this uncertain world. Yet,I am constantly reminded of Jesus' words, "Fear not". Lord help me to hear these words as a regular refrain and to stop splitting the world into us vs. them. "There is no them, there is only us..." and HIM.
